The role that the education system should be in the game which people live, is to educate them to be aware, critically thinking people know not to accept passively, but the question of knowing how it is taught. Education should be taught to the students the skills and intelligence they need to understand the world and how the world works in order to survive in it. However, the American educational system has been known that students who are frightening, produceignorant about the world and different cultures. One of the reasons is because the education system in its current state is not much room for critical thinking, but also trains individuals to be docile worker bees in a global economy, the rich the status quo and "others" believes it can hardly do. The problem becomes clear when we consider the many themes, the curriculum and are taught to search. There is a lack of emphasis on academic learning, and the only thing that counts is highInvestments tests. The schools in this country have teamed up with Fuzzy curricula, which flooded expect to be prepared by the continuous assessment, students living in a new global society. . . whatever that is.
I recently had a conversation with a staff and we discussed how African Americans were treated forty years ago, and I was amazed by her naivete on the subject, given the fact that it is a college graduate and an African-American . From the moment I steppedCollege, I was concerned, the history of African and Afro-American history from a perspective, which they themselves do not seem sub-human and provides college students to explore this possibility. I could not help wondering, but what kind of history and sociology classes, she had none of their conversation. But the sad truth is that when most people make the decision to attend college, it is harvested for the purpose of economic success, not for the expansion of consciousness.
Thusthe educational system in this country to the students who are not clueless about their production history and the world around them, they should be restructured in different ways. Parental involvement should be mandatory, as is the school for students is required for graduation. The lack of involvement of parents is a huge factor for the current failing educational system. Parents must teach their children how dangerous a lack of education is to reinforce theirFuture. The teachers are wonderful people, the students from the top of Mount Olympus can take to the cold and solitude of Antarctica, but they exist to teach, not parent. Many teachers spend a large part of their class time disciplining children and babysitters to play, two things that are not part of their job responsibilities. Teachers need the involvement of parents in order for education to work and education begins at home.
The financing of the education system should alsoneed to be restructured. Public schools are traditionally associated with property taxes, finances, the results in a very unequal distribution of educational opportunities. Communities that are rich have more resources to their schools than those who do not. This situation directly affects the quality of education that children receive in poor urban and rural areas. The No Child Left Behind Act is making worse only because the necessary analysis and publication of results. If parents'Buying a new house, they want in a school district, which has strong test results to live. This pushes up property values in those areas, which means that only wealthy families can afford to live in the best performing school districts. That means more property taxes on those areas, while the lower-performing schools lose their funding if they do not meet federal standards. There should be a fair tax system for education, not the net worth of home-based and homeowners. GovernmentFunding is for the most part to the various schools, which are distributed by state and local governments, and there are significant differences in the financing of this race. After the text American Education by Joel Spring, there is a gap of more than $ 1,000 per student nationwide basis of race, with big states like New York, Illinois and Pennsylvania, who lead the nation in their unwillingness to fairly fund education (Spring, pg. 77). Children should not suffer because theireconomic background or ethnicity, and public education should make no distinction between rich and poor, or black and white. Every child in a public school should be given the same training. Equal funding would give teachers the right resources to educate students more effectively. School choice and privatization of the public school system would not be a factor because according to my plan, the education system in America would be funded fully and equally by the federal governmentGovernment will be closely monitored. With the influx of money would be poured into the education system by the government to change dramatically for the better schools, because that is the biggest problem in most public schools: lack of money.
The education curriculum would be modified to fit with the nation's melting pot of different cultures and ethnicities. From elementary to high school students with facts and figures about rich, white men are bombarded as ifWomen and other minorities do not contribute or something worthy of the history of America. No wonder that so many students empty out the historical facts: She was not interested in that fact because they do not relate to the actors in the story. Students should be required, courses to them a deeper understanding of the world around them, courses that history must be debated, marginalized and oppressed people in this country and around the world. They shouldrequired to read books that they think do not just process information for the next test. If more students the values and cultures of people understand, as opposed to itself, would not it be easy or even possible to lie to the government and the use of propaganda techniques to sway the masses to believe that everything was ok and their leaders responsible. High Stakes Tests were eliminated because most of the tests are designed by people who have no idea of the demographics,Ethnicity or economic background of students to be tested and these tests are biased against minorities and the poor. If students are to be tested, would provide additional support for students are available, at no cost to parents.
Having competent teachers, board members and administrators are also an important part of the restructuring of the education system. For qualified administrators and board members who know and enforce the standards and guidelines is important. What are theQualifications for an administrator? There are required qualifications? These are the questions that answers. Just because someone has a degree does not make them get the best person for the job. Board members should not be elected because they golf with the mayor, all board members should have a Master's Degree in Education or have a comprehensive social justice background. As for teachers, the education system should ensure that the best teachers are selected for thePositions and opinions should be given frequently. This would give the parents and the school system a chance to find out what is wrong and what is needed to correct the problems. Public education needs teachers and board members who actually care about the children and their education, not individuals, the benefits of working for the school system: the summer and holidays off, steadily increased, and a fat compensation package. American children are suffering because of theInadequacies of the people involved with the education system.
The "culture of poverty" theory, which is used by some politicians to account for differences in learning between the different ethnic groups is a blatant attempt to get the status quo, to "blame" people for their poverty as the education system would be restructured can to fulfill the needs of all students, not just the rich. There are large gaps between rich and poor students are not studentsbecause the poorer students have to adapt their miserable existence, but because they have no resources necessary to succeed in school to be. If the students have with textbooks that are outdated, lack of toiletries and computers from the late 1980s to do, the opportunity to advance academically is dark and deserted their chances in the school, probably.
In a just and equal society, would discuss the education I have already carried out, were decades ago, but it hasand not more than likely not. In a hierarchical society, as in America there will always be someone to do the bottom of the totem pole, and the best way to do that by the mis-education is the most vulnerable: children. The neglect of education in the United States threatens the economic welfare of the entire nation. Unless the disparity in education is reduced and their system completely restructured, the rich gulf between the rich and the pooronly increase and the U.S. for being the nation of undereducated notorious.
